Mother's Day Bike Ride

We tried out Johnny's new bike seat today (thanks to Uncle Jason for getting us the seat). He seemed to enjoy it - what he could see of it, that is, since the helmet is a bit big and kept falling over his eyes. We rode along the Boulder Creek Path, which pretty much takes you right through the middle of Boulder. It's a very scenic & enjoyable ride. We also enjoyed a picnic along the way.

Blogdett Peak, CO Springs

Ben and his college friend, Shane, went on a hike in Colorado Springs today. At the top, they had a great view of Pikes Peak (the peak to the right of Ben in the picture).

Out for a drive...

Since our neighbors are out of town, they let us borrow their little push buggy, which John loves! The stroller may not be quite cool enough for him anymore now that he is apparently able to drive himself.

So close...

John has been teetering on the edge of walking for about a week now...
Hopefully he will get it down soon!

In the meantime, he is quite the cute little mascot for my Alma mater!

My new hat!

Here I am in my new hat...it's a bumble bee, if you can't tell. Mommy thinks it's adorable, but daddy...he doesn't seem to think it brings out my manly side. Me...well, I like hats and I call anything that I put on my head a "hat" (my plastic bucket, my blanket, paper, books, food...), so I kind of like it.

So Handsome!
